Work & Perfectionism
You've Done the Work. So Why Are You Still Overthinking?
Still overthinking after therapy, coaching, or personal development? Explore the fear of making mistakes beneath the pattern and the role of connection.
If you've done therapy, coaching, or personal development work and the FOMU pattern is still exhausting you, I want to speak directly to that. FOMU to Flow is different in three specific ways.
First, it's FOMU-specific. It’s not affirmations to boost your confidence. It’s not another mindset framework to power through. This program works on the fear fueling all of it, the one that's been running under everything else you've tried.
Second, the peer group matters. One of the attendees at a webinar messaged me after “the fact that FOMU is not a 'me' thing, that other people also experience it was quite comforting.” FOMU festers in isolation. Being in a room of people who have the exact same patterns creates safety, connection and understanding that reinforces your progress.
Third, when you have language for what's been happening, and space to voice it, you can finally work with it instead of being run by it. Six weeks gives you time to interrupt the pattern and build new defaults. It’s not a cure, it's a reset, a refreshed foundation. The people I interviewed and people in the webinar shared losing up to 20 hours a week to FOMU. If you're losing even just 5 hours to FOMU that's 260 hours a year - more than 6 work weeks gone. What's the value of reclaiming even half of that time for yourself (and the peace that comes with it)?
